NFC and QR code technology

 

How to use the NFC funtion?

On iPhones (8 or newer) NFC function is always ON.

On newer Android NFC function is usually OFF and need to be activated in the control area by pulling down the start screen.

The best way to read the NFC chip is to "wake up" the smartphone from idle mode by touching the screen one.
Unlike classic plastic bank cards, the NFC chip on the ContactMeCard made of stainless steel is somewhat shielded by the material. Accordingly, we ask that you hold the card up to the smartphone of the person you are talking to as shown below.

NFC Nutzung

iPhone

The card must be held directly against the iPhone as shown above on the upper edge of the phone. This is where the NFC reader is build in. The NFC chip sits under the QR code. The card may need to be moved back and forth a bit. 

Android

On Android phones, the NFC reader is located slightly above the center on the back of the device. The NFC chip must be stopped there.

This is the personalised ContactMeCard. You can create your individual card. The personalisation will be done by using laser technology.

Regardless of whether it is a name, initials, a text or a logo, you can use the configurator to design your ContactMeCard yourself or as a gift.

We offer a selection of fonts and sizes for texts. Logos can be changed in size and positioning on the ContactMeCard. Ideally, you should attach the logo in vector format (.svg, .eps).

For personalization we use the Black, White, Silver or Black Sun Edition - see pictures. The top black/white/silver layer is removed by laser, the silver core of the stainless steel card appears shiny with your personalization (with a silver base, the lasered area appears matt silver).

The delivery time for personalizations is up to 15 days. Please understand that personalizations cannot be returned.
